The visit to Granada shall never be complete if you don’t enjoy in its bars and taverns the named “tapeo granadino” [snack lunch/dinner in Granada], which consists in eating varied and succulent tapas [snacks] you’ll be given for free with each drink, usually a beer or a glass of wine.

Going to Tapas with friends is one of the most deep-rooted habits in Granada. The city offers various “tapeo” typical zones: Campo del Príncipe, Realejo, Calle Elvira or the surroundings of the Cathedral such as Plaza de la Romanilla and the Plaza de la de Pescadería.

The neighbourhood of Albayzín-Sacromonte is one of the most typical zones for “tapeo”, specially Paseo de los Tristes, Plaza Larga, Plaza Aliatar, Viewpoint of San Nicolás and Calle del Agua.
