The Museum Caves of the Sacromonte is located in the named Barranco de los Negros, in the heart of the Sacromonte in front of the Alhambra.

This enclave holds a valuable patrimonial nature formed by the caves complex in addition to the natural landscape and monumental elements of great beauty: the valley of Darro Valparaíso, meadows of the Sacromonte and the Generalife, the Nazarí Wall (fence of Don Gonzalo), Hill of the Aceituno [olive tree], fountain of the Avellano [hazel] and neighbourhood of the Albaycín are elements that form this environment which, together with its inhabitants grants a very particular idiosyncrasy.
